This position requires the processing of magnetic resonance imaging data at the Buffalo Neuroimaging Analysis Center for research and clinical purposes. The individual will assist in compute-driven neuroimaging and neurologic correlation of research data in subjects with a variety of neurological disorders, focusing mainly in multiple sclerosis. The individual will also perform magnetic resonance imaging data collection and processing. Moreover, he/she will perform computer hardware and software management in Linux, Unix, and Windows.


  • Energetic, self-starter with solid interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Unix/Linux environments highly preferred
  • Familiarity with medical imaging (specifically Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft Office applications and the Internet (must be proficient in Word and PPT)
  • Extensive experience in database management (both Excel and SPSS)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced medical research environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to be highly productive under time constraints with minimal supervision
  • A scientific/research background is preferred
