PhD Student

 

Claire M. Modica is a PhD student in the Neuroscience Program at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She is investigating the involvement of the thalamus in multiple sclerosis and is supervised by Dr. Robert Zivadinov, MD, PhD. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from New York University in 2008 and her master’s degree in neuroscience from the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 2013. Her background is in neurodevelopment, and her research interests include neurodegeneration and neuropathology.
